LABEL- PRIMARY DECORATION

evident sleeves in several formats:
Plain
or printed tamper bands incorporating perforations and special
tear tape to enable easy removal by the consumer upon purchase,
but virtually impossible to replace in an untampered state.
Sleeves
can be supplied in cut single format for hand application for
smaller quantities, but also available in continuous reel form
for fully automatic application for high speed, large volume use.

We
at Tungate Flex-pack are dedicated to bringing innovation, new
technology and constant improvement to our range of products and
services.
Regarding
shrink sleeves, we see the need to be able to test, trial and
prove the quality of what we produce, therefore we have installed
the latest shrink sleeve application equipment at our site in
Cheadle.
This
facility is for utilisation by our customers to test and trial
new ideas, new products for development and ultimately sleeve
application to our customer products if required, we see this
as "ADDED VALUE".
 OPP
Plastic - Roll Fed Labels
Plastic wrap around labels are fast replacing the conventional
and traditional paper wraparound and cut and stack labels, especially
in the soft drinks market.
This,
I believe is mainly due to the environment and how this particular
product is manufactured.
Due
to it's very nature soft drinks production is continually exposed
to wet and moist conditions. This is not ideal for any paper label
substrate, even those with special lacquers and varnishes applied.
Although paper labels have been and are continued to be used in
this area, production line speeds and efficiencies are not as
good as they could be.
OPP-
orientated poly-propylene is ideally suited to the production
conditions of the soft drinks market and is inert to moisture.
Because the material is not effected by water or moisture this
enables the application equipment to run at much higher speeds
without the possibility of any web breaks. Other benefits include
the fact that due to the tensile strength of OPP thinner gauge
material can be used giving cost savings along with more labels
per standard reel avoiding valuable down time in production.
With
our uv flexo print process we are able to offer short run, high
quality and cost effective OPP wraparound labels to customers
who have in the past experienced issues with our competitors who
demand large volume runs along with limited choice of print process.
